Kazakhstan Biathlon Union Concludes the 2022/2023 Season
The final event of the season, the Kazakhstan Biathlon Championship (March 27 – April 4), officially opened with a medal ceremony for the first three days of races. As part of the youth biathlon development program, regional teams received new sports equipment, including skis, poles, and bindings. This is the fifth year in a row that the federation has supported local teams with this initiative.

The latest stage of the KBU Children's Cup concluded, featuring over 140 young athletes from 7 regions. 20 young athletes who represented Kazakhstan at the recent Youth and Junior World Championships received professional skis as a gift from the Federation.The Kazakhstan Biathlon Union and the Olympic Training Center held an end-of-season meeting. Head coaches presented a detailed analysis of the athletes' performances at major international events, including the home World Championships, and shared preparation plans for the next season.The Federation, together with the Ministry of Culture and Sports, will soon announce the new roster of athletes and the coaching staff for the national and youth teams for the upcoming season.
