Yerbol Khamitov Awards Personal Cash Prizes to Young Biathletes at GRAND TOUR BIATHLON Finale

The opportunity to meet national sports legends became one of the most memorable highlights of the GRAND TOUR BIATHLON final stage in Astana. Olympic medalist Elena Khrustaleva and World and Paralympic Champion Yerbol Khamitov attended the event in the capital's Central Park as honored guests.

In the interactive fan zone, young athletes and their families had a unique chance to speak with the champions, take photos and receive valuable advice from top professionals.

The central event of the celebration was Yerbol Khamitov’s personal initiative. To encourage the rising generation and inspire them toward future athletic achievements, the Paralympic champion awarded personal cash prizes to the season's top performers.

He personally presented monetary rewards to the yellow bibs champions of the GRAND TOUR BIATHLON, as well as to the winners of the sprint and individual races at the final stage.

The Kazakhstan Biathlon Union extends its gratitude to Yerbol Khamitov and Elena Khrustaleva for their dedicated support of youth development. The champions personal involvement provides strong inspiration for our young athletes as they strive for new heights.
