Vladislav Kireev showed perfect accuracy at the first shooting range, hitting all targets, but made two misses at the second shooting range and lagged behind the leader by 2 minutes and 44 seconds. Out of 101 participants, he finished 32nd. Alexander Mukhin also started the race confidently but made one miss at the last shooting range. As a result, he finished 34th, trailing the winner by 2 minutes and 49 seconds. Asset Dyussenov hit all targets at the first range, but three misses at the second range lowered his position to 75th. The sprint champion was Johannes Boe, who completed the race in 23 minutes and 37 seconds. Italian biathlete Tommaso Giacomel finished second, and Tarjei Boe took third place.

After today's race, the Kazakhstan men's biathlon team has risen to 15th place in the Nations Cup ranking, surpassing Estonia. This has secured us 4 quotas for the next season, one more than last year. It is worth noting that last year the team was in 19th place, so we have moved up by 4 positions. Considering the upcoming Asian Games next season and the Olympic Games in 2026, the team's progress is very impressive. We emphasize the contribution of the entire team and coaching staff, especially the head coach of the men's team, Alexander Nikolaevich Mukhin.
