Grand Tour Biathlon Leaders Headed to Liatoppen Festival in Norway!

This year’s selection was focused on athletes born in 2010. Representing Kazakhstan on the international stage are Varvara Nebogatova and Valeria Trifonova  for the girls and Yegor Nemtsev and Artem Nanakin for the boys.

Varvara Nebogatova and Yegor Nemtsev were last season’s overall champions and are still dominating the rankings this year. The team is heading out with coach Sergey Dudchenko. 

What is the Grand Tour? 

The Grand Tour Biathlon is the new and improved Kazakhstan Youth Cup. With four winter and two summer stages, we follow the IBU World Cup format to give kids the "pro" experience. We’ve got it all: Red Bibs for race leaders, and the iconic Yellow Bibs and Crystal Globes for our overall season winners.

Our goal is simple: we want our kids to experience the thrill of international racing and turn the Grand Tour into a world-class brand for Kazakhstan biathlon.
