Record Number of Athletes in Balkashino!

For the first time, Balkashino is hosting the fourth stage of the Grand Tour Biathlon. We have a new record: 200 kids from 9 regions of Kazakhstan are competing here! Today, because of the weather, the individual race was held without shooting.

The Results

Boys (2010–2011) – 4.8 km The race was very close! Yegor Nemtsev (East Kazakhstan) won with a time of 11:12. He was only one second faster than Ruslan Vetrigov from Balkashino. Yegor Gorbachevsky (Pavlodar) took third place.

Girls (2010–2011) – 4.8 km Tamila Popkova (Akmola Region) won first place (13:26). Yelena Tokmyanina (Kostanay Region) finished second, only 2 seconds behind. Varvara Nebogatova (East Kazakhstan) came in third.

Boys (2012–2014) Alisher Malikov (West Kazakhstan) took first place with a time of 09:54. Dmitriy Evlanenkov (Akmola Region) finished second. Andrey Pirog and Timofey Bulgakov both finished at 10:18 and shared third place.

Girls (2012–2014) Varvara Dudina (Kostanay) won the race. Daria Prikhodko (Akmola) took second place, and Elizaveta Tikhomirova (East Kazakhstan) finished third.
