World Cup: Alexander Mukhin and Vladislav Kireev Finish in Top 30
The men's 10 km sprint race took place in Oberhof, Germany, as part of the fourth stage of the Biathlon World Cup. Out of 100 athletes, Kazakhstan's Alexander Mukhin and Vladislav Kireyev finished in the top 30.

Alexander Mukhin finished 16th, losing only 1 minute and 6.8 seconds to the winner. This is his personal best result in individual races. Vladislav Kireyev shot perfectly with zero misses and finished 29th (+1:44.6). Another member of the national team, Asset Dyussenov, finished 71st (+3:07.9).
German biathlete Benedikt Doll won the gold medal (24:12.2). Sturla Holm Laegreid from Norway took second place (+1.8 seconds), and his teammate Endre Stroemsheim finished third (+5.4 seconds).
