The Kazakhstan Biathlon Cup: Stage 2 Winners Named in Shchuchinsk

From December 24 to 28, 2024, the second stage of the Kazakhstan Biathlon Cup took place at the National Olympic Training Center in Shchuchinsk. More than 130 athletes from different regions took part in the competition.

On the first day, the athletes competed in the fast and exciting sprint races.

Ruslan Amurlayev shot perfectly with zero mistakes and won the gold medal with a time of 28:04 minutes. Anton Bashkirov missed 1 target and finished second, 1:09 minutes behind the leader. Vladislav Malykov made 7 mistakes but still won the bronze medal with a time of 29:57 minutes.

Darya Usanova missed 1 target but won the race in 22:45 minutes. Kristina Titievskaya shot perfectly (zero mistakes) but finished second, 1:14 minutes behind Darya. Elizaveta Beletskaya missed 4 targets and took third place (+2:05 minutes).

Yegor Grebenshchikov (2 mistakes; 27:03 minutes) won the gold. Artem Afanasiyev (4 mistakes) took second place and Evgeniy Litvinov (5 mistakes; 28:53 minutes) got the bronze medal.Adima Kuanyshbekova (2 mistakes; 23:50 minutes) won the gold medal. Maria Poldyaeva (+1:15 minutes) finished second and Valeria Mironova (+2:37 minutes) took third place.
