Results of the Kazakhstan Biathlon Championship in Shchuchinsk

Sprint and Super Sprint Results
Alexandr Mukhin missed 1 target and won the men's race in 26:10 minutes. Vladislav Kireev took second place (+16 seconds), and Danil Chervenko took third. In the women's race, Galina Vishnevskaya-Sheporenko shot perfectly and won the gold (23:47 minutes). Darya Klimina took silver, and Olga Poltoranina took bronze. Artem Afanasiev (Junior Men) and Maria Poldyaeva (Junior Women, zero mistakes) won their races. In super sprint races Alexandr Mukhin and Maria Poldyaeva won gold medals again. Anastassiya Kondratyeva won the women's race, and Egor Grebenshchikov was the best among junior men.
Mass Start Races
Alexandr Mukhin won his third gold medal of the championship. He finished the 15 km race in 39:03 minutes with 2 mistakes. Aset Dyusenov finished second, and Danil Chervenko came third. Dasha Klimina won the gold medal (38:01 minutes, 5 mistakes). Galina Vishnevskaya-Sheporenko took second place, and Anastassiya Kondratyeva took third.Vladislav Malykov won the junior men's race. Among junior women, Maria Poldyaeva won the race and took her fourth gold medal of the championship.
After this championship, coaches will choose the new national team for the next winter season. The biathletes will rest until May and then start their training camps. Next season, athletes will compete in the World Cup, the World Championships, the Winter Asian Games, and the World Universiade.
