The program for the audience
The official opening of the Youth and Junior Biathlon World Championships at the Center for Olympic Preparation in Shchuchinsk will take place very soon. Since the start of the long-awaited and grandiose IBU YJWCH 2023 Shchuchinsk will happen in a week, we want to give you more information about all the exciting things that you can expect to see.
The first races will begin on March 4 and the Championship will last until March 12. In addition to spectacular competitions, such events as entertainment programs, raffles, as well as an ethnic town called fan village are waiting for you! The fan village is made in a modern style, while perfectly showcasing the Kazakh national culture and hospitality. There will be yurts (nomad houses) where you can try national cuisine, food trucks with various dishes, shops with national attributes; as well as an interactive event where you can shoot at targets with a laser rifle, like a true biathlete!
How can you get to the venue?
The map shows the routes that lead to the Center for Olympic Preparation from the Astana – Shchuchinsk highway (green lines) and from the city of Shchuchinsk (blue lines). To simplify the task, you can use "2GIS" or "Google Maps", enter "Shchuchinsk Center for Olympic Preparation" and start your journey to the venue.
After passing the security gate, you will get to the parking lot, where you can leave the car and go to the stadium.
In the image below you can see the routes that show how to get to the locations inside the stadium. In order to help you navigate, signs are installed around the perimeter, and our volunteers are also ready to answer your questions.
