First Medal of the New Season: Vadim Kurales Takes Second Place at the Junior IBU Cup in Italy
Today, the sprint races took place at the second stage of the Junior IBU Cup in Ridnaun, Italy. Kazakhstan won its first medal of the new season.
In the men's 10 km sprint race, there were 159 athletes. Our biathlete Vadim Kurales shot perfectly with zero mistakes and finished in second place. His time was 26:11.2 minutes, which was only 11 seconds behind the winner.
Matija Legovic from Croatia won the gold medal (26:10.2), and Marcin Zawol from Poland took third place (+30.7 seconds).
