Grand Tour Biathlon: Kazakhstan Cup for Youth to Take Place in Astana for the First Time
Around 100 young athletes from Akmolinsk, Abay, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, and East Kazakhstan will compete. The "Grand Tour Biathlon" is a project with four winter stages and two summer stages organized to promote youth sports. The first stage was in Ridder, the second in Aksai, the third in Pavlodar, the fourth in Shchuchinsk, and the fifth in Petropavlovsk. The top athletes from the winter stages were sent by the federation to the "Liatoppen" children's festival in Norway in April. The goal is to develop children's biathlon in Astana and open a kids' biathlon program in the city.

Winners will receive crystal cups, and the top five teams will get money prizes totaling 15 million tenge. Fans can enjoy free ice cream and water, and those who hit all targets with a laser rifle will win special prizes.
