Grand Tour Biathlon: Individual Race Results
Among boys born in 2009-2010, Evgeny Poltoranin from East Kazakhstan region emerged as the leader on the 6 km distance. He hit all targets without a miss and reached the finish line in 16 minutes and 53 seconds. Nikita Dudchenko missed one shot and finished second in 17 minutes and 15 seconds, followed by Egor Nemtsev with a time of 17 minutes and 27 seconds. Aryn Tazhibayev from West Kazakhstan region finished first among boys born in 2011-2013 on the 4.5 km distance. He closed all targets without a miss and reached the finish line in 13 minutes and 39 seconds. Denis Chirvin finished second with one miss in 14 minutes and 18 seconds, while Ilya Kondaurov, without any misses, secured the third position with a time of 14 minutes and 32 seconds.
Among girls born in 2009-2010, Varvara Nebogatova from East Kazakhstan region topped the group with one miss, finishing in 19 minutes and 05 seconds. Angelina Afanasyeva followed with a time of 19 minutes and 40 seconds, and Albina Khafizova secured the third position on the podium with a time of 20 minutes and 10 seconds. The winning girls in the 2011-2013 age group demonstrated high accuracy, closing all targets. Sofia Zhigulina from Akmola region claimed victory with a time of 14 minutes and 19 seconds, Evelina Timofeeva finished second in 14 minutes and 39 seconds, and Leyla Mukatova finished third in 14 minutes and 57 seconds.
Tomorrow, the athletes will have a rest day.
