The Second Season of Grand Tour Biathlon Kicks Off in Ridder

The second season of the Grand Tour Biathlon for children has begun in Ridder with an exciting fan contest, allowing everyone to test their skills with a laser rifle. Those who hit all the targets received prizes from the Federation. Over 200 children are participating in the competition.

On the first day kids competed in sprint races. Here are the results from the first day:

Boys born in 2010-2011:

Boys born in 2012-2014:

Girls born in 2010-2011:

1.Varvara Nebogatova (Ridder)

2.Angelina Afanasyeva (Ridder)

3.Ksenia Krashkevich (Pavlodar)

Girls born in 2012-2013:

1.Viktoria Romantsova (Ridder)

2.Varvara Dudina (Kostanay Region)

3.Albina Troshcheva (Pavlodar)

Starting this season, participants who place 4th, 5th, and 6th will be awarded the Grand Tour Biathlon mascot as a prize.

During the opening ceremony, national biathlon coach Zhanbolat Mustafin presented letters of appreciation from the Federation to Dulat Sovetkhanovich, director of the Republican School-Internat-College of Olympic Reserve in Ridder, and Yekaterina Alexandrovna, chief specialist of the Ridder Sports Department, for their assistance in organizing the competition.
