Kazakhstan National Biathlon Team Holds a Training Camp in France

Training high in the mountains helps our athletes prepare their bodies and minds for the upcoming winter season. Right now, the main goal is to build strength, speed, and stamina. The coaching staff created a special program to help our biathletes stay calm during shooting after heavy physical work, even with less oxygen in the mountains.
Many top teams, including France, Norway, Finland, and Croatia are also training in Bessans. This is a great chance for our team to share experience and learn from the best.
During this camp, our team is working closely with Kiwi, a professional company that helps fix and service sports rifles. Together, they are testing ammunition in a special cold room. This work helps find the perfect bullets for each rifle to make sure our shooting is as accurate as possible.
After France, our team will travel to Slovenia for the next stage of preparation. There, in a lab at the University of Ljubljana, our athletes will take special tests on a large roller ski treadmill. This test will check their current form and measure their VO_2 max (how well their bodies use oxygen).
Our team is working hard and feels ready for the new season!
