Qualification for the Winter Season: Kazakhstan Biathlon Championship Begins
On the first day of the Summer Biathlon Championship in Shchuchinsk, athletes competed in sprint races. Among the men, Alexander Mukhin claimed the championship title, followed by Vladislav Kireev in second and Kirill Bauer in third. In the junior category, Maksat Kinolbaev took first place, with Viktor Brovko finishing second and Danil Dudko securing third.
In the women's competition, Daria Klimina-Ussanova finished first, followed by Nadezhda Pivovarova in second and Elizaveta Beletskaya in third. Among the junior girls, Diana Popova was the champion, with Anfisa Vorobyova taking second and her sister Maria Vorobyova finishing third.
The second day featured individual races, with over 60 athletes participating. For the second consecutive day, Alexander Mukhin won in the men's category, with Kirill Bauer taking second place and Evgeniy Zharitsky in third. In the women's event, Galina Vishnevskaya-Sheporenko triumphed, followed by Arina Kryukova in second and Daria Klimina in third.
In the junior men's competition, Ilya Matyskin finished first, followed by Evgeniy Litvinov in second and Maksat Kinolbaev in third. Among the junior girls, Milana Geneva took first place, with Valeria Mironova finishing second and Yana Chupik in third. Tomorrow, the athletes will compete in the sprint on roller skis.
