Our Men's Team Finishes 15th in the Relay at the World Cup in Hochfilzen

Aleksandr Mukhin started the race strong and stayed in the top five before the first shooting. However, he had to use two extra rounds at the first stage and one more at the second stage, passing the relay in 16th position.
Vladislav Kireyev ran the second leg and did an amazing job. Thanks to his speed and clean shooting, he moved our team up 5 places and passed the relay in 11th position.
The youngest athlete on our team, Vadim Kurales, ran the third leg. This was his very first adult relay race at the World Cup level. He used three extra rounds and passed the relay in 15th place.
Asset Dyussenov ran the final leg. Even though he missed five targets and had to use extra shots, he kept his focus and defended our 15th position until the finish line.
In total, our biathletes did not ski any penalty loops and used 12 extra rounds at the 8 shooting stages. Our team finished 5 minutes and 7.1 seconds behind the winners from France (Fabien Claude, Quentin Fillon Maillet, Eric Perrot, and Emilien Jacquelin).
