Luca Bormolini brings European experience to his first camp with Kazakhstan’s youth and junior teams

There are 28 athletes and 8 local coaches at this camp. This stage is very important. Luca Bormolini is watching the youth and junior athletes closely. He wants to find the best and strongest biathletes. These chosen athletes will join a special program and train directly with him to get better results.
During the camp, the youth and junior athletes went to the "Beunlimited" center in Astana for functional fitness tests. These sports tests show how strong and ready the athletes are. The results will help the coaches make personal training plans for everyone.
Luca Bormolini has three main goals for this work:
To help young athletes move up to the main Team smoothly.
To train these youth and junior athletes today, so they can compete in the 2030 Winter Olympics in France in the future.
To teach local coaches. 8 Kazakhstan coaches are working now together with Bormolini to learn the best training methods.
This training camp in Shchuchinsk will finish on May 28. After that, the best youth and junior athletes will fly to Italy in June for the next training camp.
