Biathlon World Championships: Results of the first Relay
Team France won the gold medal in the race (1:09:24.4). Norway finished in second place (+45.2 seconds), and Sweden took third place (+1:01.7 minutes). The national team of Kazakhstan finished in 21st place.
Performance of Kazakhstan Athletes:
1st lap: Alexandr Mukhin shot perfectly with zero mistakes. He was only 25.6 seconds behind the leader and passed the relay in 5th place.
2nd lap: Vladislav Kireev used 2 extra bullets at the first shooting and 1 extra bullet at the second. He passed the relay 2:27.8 minutes behind the leader.
3rd lap: Galina Vishnevskaya-Sheporenko used 1 extra bullet at each shooting stage and made clean targets. The time gap was 4:18.4 minutes.
4th lap: Polina Egorova used 1 extra bullet at her first shooting stage and 3 extra bullets at the second stage. She made clean targets and finished the race.
