Youth and Juniors World Championships: Results of Kazakhstan Biathletes

In the junior men's 15 km individual race, Vadim Kurales showed a great result and finished 8th out of 104 athletes. Danil Chervenko finished 31st, Artem Afanasiev was 50th, and Egor Grebenshchikov took 51st place. In the junior women's race, Arina Kryukova finished 35th and Milana Genevа took 39th place out of 86 biathletes. In the junior men's 10 km sprint, Vadim Kurales finished in the top 25. Danil Chervenko took 30th place, and Egor Grebenshchikov finished 36th. In the junior women's 7.5 km sprint, Arina Kryukova finished 27th (top 30), and Milana Genevа took 36th place.
Mixed Relays: The youth team (A. Redkin, K. Zotov, A. Karabayeva, V. Mironova) finished 18th out of 28 countries. The junior mixed team (E. Grebenshchikov, V. Kurales, A. Kryukova, M. Genevа) took 14th place.
Youth Relays: The youth girls' team finished 16th out of 24 countries, and the youth boys' team took 18th place out of 25 teams.
Junior Men's Relay: The Kazakhstan team (D. Chervenko, E. Grebenshchikov, A. Afanasiev, V. Kurales) finished in 12th place.
Junior Women's Relay: The junior women's team (Arina, Milana, Maria, and Ksenia) shot very well, made clean targets, and finished in the top 10.
Now, the junior national team is back in Kazakhstan. The team is training in Shchuchinsk to prepare for the National Championship at the end of March.
