The first stage of the "Grand Tour Biathlon" organized from December 9 to 15 in Ridder. More than 100 athletes from 8 regions took part in the competitions. All the winners received special gifts and cups from the organizers. Photos are available at the link below.
The second stage of the "Grand Tour Biathlon" took place in Aksai, in the West Kazakhstan region. This was the first time biathlon competitions were held in this area. Over 60 children from 6 regions of the country took part. Participants included athletes from Akmola, East Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, and Pavlodar regions.
The third stage of the "Grand Tour Biathlon" took place in Pavlodar. The opening ceremony was attended by federation representatives, the head of the youth sports school, biathlon coaches, and about 100 young biathletes from 8 regions. All winners and medalists received cups, certificates, and special gifts from the federation. Additionally, the champions from the previous stages competed in red bibs.
The fourth stage of the "Grand Tour Biathlon" organized in Shchuchinsk. About 160 children from 10 regions participated in the event.
During the official opening ceremony, the Kazakhstan Biathlon Union congratulated the top athletes who will attend the Liatoppen festival in Norway and provided them with equipment.
The fifth stage of the project is planned for July in Petropavlovsk, and the final sixth stage will be held in August at the central park of Astana.
From July 25 to 31, the first summer stage of the Grand Tour Biathlon took place in Petropavlovsk. More than 150 athletes participated!
For the first time, biathlon competitions took place in Astana! On august a wonderful children's festival was held in Central Park. Around 100 kids from 7 regions of Kazakhstan participated. Everything was arranged for the young biathletes and their fans: an official opening ceremony, raffles, and gifts from the Federation, exciting competitions, free water, and ice cream! Most importantly, the names of the Crystal Cup winners and season champions were also announced! The Kazakhstan Biathlon Union allocated 15 million tenge to support children's sports in the regions.
