Shchuchinsk will host the IBU-IOC Summer Asian Development Camp 2026

The camp continues the series of IBU regional courses and is part of a long-term plan to help grow biathlon in Asia.
A key feature of the camp is its inclusive format: training sessions and activities will be held together with Para biathlon athletes and their coaches, creating a shared learning environment and fostering exchange between Olympic and Para biathlon.
What the camp aims to do:
-Help athletes improve in roller skiing, shooting, and physical fitness;
-Support athletes and coaches in their long-term development;
-Teach through workshops and hands-on training;
-Build stronger ties between Asian biathlon federations;
-Help young athletes prepare for future competitions;
-Bring Olympic and Para biathlon athletes closer together;
The camp will be led by Luca Bormolini (Italy) - coach consultant of our national junior team and a certified IBU Academy coach. He will be joined by:
- Varja Solt (Norway)
- Sari Maeda (Japan)
- Myeongchul Im (Republic of Korea)
- Alina Kolomiyets (Kazakhstan)
