Shchuchinsk to Host the Summer Asian Biathlon Championships
From July 19 to 22, the National Ski Center in Shchuchinsk will host the Summer Asian Biathlon Championships. Teams from Kazakhstan, Japan, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Thailand will compete for medals across men’s, women’s, junior and youth categories.
One of the strongest teams in the tournament is South Korea. Their leaders have arrived in Shchuchinsk, including Timofey Lapshin, a medalist at World Cup stages and Ekaterina Avvakumova, champion of the 2025 Winter Asian Games in the sprint race.
