IBU-IOC Summer Asian Development Camp 2026 kicks off in Shchuchinsk
The National Ski Center in Shchuchinsk has officially opened its doors for the IBU-IOC Summer Asian Development Camp 2026, organized with the support of the IBU and the Olympic Solidarity program. Today, the participants held their opening meeting to review the upcoming training schedule. This year’s camp brings together 35 young biathletes (aged 15–21) from 7 Asian nations.
The camp is led by Luca Bormolini, a coach-consultant for our youth and junior teams and a certified IBU Academy coach. He is joined by an international team of expert coaches: Varja Solt (Norway), Sari Maeda (Japan), Im Myeong-cheol (Republic of Korea), and Alina Kolomiyets (Kazakhstan).
The project is designed to enhance the skills of young athletes and promote the exchange of international experience. The training camp will run through July 19.
