Kazakhstan biathletes returned from kids festival-Liatoppen
This morning, young Kazakhstan biathletes returned to the International Airport of the Astana after participating in the large international children's festival Liatoppen in Norway. The children were greeted by their parents, relatives, and representatives of the biathlon federation.
The festival participants expressed joy at the organization of the event and emphasized their motivation to achieve high results. During the trip, the children were accompanied by the youth coach Maxim Brown. It is worth noting that this year, Kazakhstan children-biathletes born in 2009 were sent to international competitions thanks to the initiative and support of the Kazakhstan Biathlon Union.
The main goal of organizing the Grand Tour Biathlon is to popularize and develop this sport, especially in regions where biathlon bases have recently opened, as well as the opening of a youth department in Astana. We intend to make these competitions a brand of Kazakhstan biathlon.
