Next Stop: Norway!
The second stage of the Grand Tour Biathlon has finished in Kostanay. Everyone was excited to find out who won the medals, but there was a bigger surprise: the announcement of the four winners who are traveling to Norway! This year, a record 170 young athletes from 12 regions of Kazakhstan participated. After looking at the results from the two winter stages, the judges selected the top athletes born in 2011.
The winners heading to Norway are:
-Iliyan Bazelinskiy (Kostanay Region)
-Tatiana Umurzakova (Kostanay Region)
-Fedor Karpachev (East Kazakhstan)
-Ksenia Krashkevich (Pavlodar Region)
For the third year in a row, the Kazakhstan Biathlon Union is working with the Norwegian Federation to give our young talents a chance to race at Liatoppen the world’s largest kids' biathlon festival.
