Youth and Junior Teams Consultant Coach

Luca Bormolini is an international biathlon coach with over 12 years of experience in training national teams, as well as managing youth and junior projects.

Professional Experience:

Czech Republic National Team (2024/2025 season): Head Coach of the Women's Team at the IBU World Cup

South Korea National Team (2022–2024): Coach of the Olympic Youth Team

New Zealand National Team (2020–2023): Personal coach and mentor to the team leader, Campbell Wright.

Former coach of the national biathlon teams of Australia and Brazil.

Key Achievements:

Under his guidance, Campbell Wright won the gold medal at the World Junior Championships, marking the first-ever medal for New Zealand in the history of the Biathlon World Championships. In the 2024/2025 season, the Czech women's team became one of the best in the world under his leadership. They finished in 2nd place at the World Championships in Lenzerheide and competed at the top level at the World Cup in Kontiolahti.
