Coaching experience:

For a long time, he trained the women's national teams of Germany and Austria, as well as the national team of Italy. The teams showed obvious progress and high results under his guidance - for example, in the 2016/2017 season, the women's team of Germany, trained by Hönig, won almost all possible awards, and Laura Dahlmeier won a record five gold medals at the world championship. At one point, Hönig was also a member of the IBU technical committee, and before the start of the previous season, he was the shooting coach for the Austrian team.
